Since these have been "for sale" for so long now, I'm beginning to think something fishy is going on. Maybe this guy is playing games with the price?

I didn't go back and read the thread over again, but has anyone emailed the guy?

Anyone seen all those Altecs in Circus Circus Las Vegas surrounding the Flying Trapeze - still working fine--must date back to mid sixties!

I noticed when I did a search that the the seller had posted them before or after the add that I posted. The price was still the same. His add wasn't as peculiar as the guy selling 19's for a ridiculously low price and only showing the Altec ad as the only photo in numerous CL adds.

Wouldn't hurt though to contact this guy and see if it is legit. Like I said, If I was in the area, I would have all ready posted that I bought them, depending on the components.

Who ever finds out more info , let us know.

PS... did not know this was the original post on these.. I had posted on them yesterday without searching first....

I emailed him to see what is up with these and if they are for real will post findings if any.
